Shooting and Hostage Situation at Mahany Park in Roseville, California: An Overview
On April 6th, 2023, a man shot a California Highway Patrol officer before taking two adult hostages at Mahany Park in Roseville, California.[0] The suspect shot both hostages, with one being pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.[1]
